I’m Dr. Alan Barnes, and I've been a practicing Chiropractor now for over 18 years. The first 2 years were in Nampa, and I now practice in Boise. 

I grew up in Hastings, England. Yes, I am a born and bred Englishman, but I've been proud to be an American citizen for the past 18 years. The story of how I came to be practicing in Boise, Idaho is one of those strange stories that you’ll probably hear in my office sometime, but it involves faith, love and some long flights back and forth.

I received my doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West, in Hayward, CA. As soon as I graduated, my wife Holly and my two young sons loaded up all we owned and moved here to Idaho.

When I am not working, I am usually spending time with my family, playing with my puppy or trying to find a quiet corner of my house to read a book in.
